The Bar is a locally owned restaurant and bar on West Missouri Avenue downtown, open for more than 45 years. The walls are covered in sports memorabilia and vintage signs collected over six decades.
Saturday brunch is the big draw, with chicken and waffles, West Texas hash and eggs, huevos rancheros and steak and eggs, plus Bloody Marys and mimosas. The rest of the week it's burgers, ribeyes and bar food.
Brunch is Saturday only, from 10 AM to 2 PM. They're closed Sundays and Mondays, so don't plan a Sunday brunch here.
