Two amazing artists in one weekend! We are blessed to welcome, Kody West, live at the Tailgate Midland on March 25th!
In 2014, Kody began playing acoustic gigs alongside songwriter competitions around the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. This proved to be a great way to increase his following, and soon he was opening for big Texas Country and Red Dirt acts such as Dalton Domino and the Front Porch Family Band. In 2015, Kody and producers Ben Hussey and Josh Serrato (of the band Six Market Blvd) recorded a full production EP in Stephenville, Texas, titled Higher Ground.
The EP and single “Playing Cards” were released in January 2016. Afterward, Kody formed his own band and began playing music infused with Texas Country and Bluegrass with a soulful groove. Join us in welcoming him at The Tailgate Midland!
