Brown's Bar-B-Q is a family barbecue business on W Illinois Ave in West Midland, slow-smoking since 2003. It started with a cooler of brisket burritos and grew into a food truck, then a restaurant.
People come for brisket, ribs, sausage and brisket tacos, plus fried catfish and burritos. There are vegan options too, and the food truck and catering turn up at events and weddings across West Texas.
Our tip
It closes at 4 PM, so plan on lunch. Come Wednesday through Friday if you want an early start, when doors open at 7:30 AM.
