Midland is a beer-and-bourbon town at heart, but there are good places to drink wine here, from a 500-label Italian dining room to a bookstore wine bar and a winery that makes its own on the north side of town.
This guide covers where to drink wine in Midland, where to buy a bottle, and the tasting rooms worth a day trip. It is a starting list, not a ranking. Wine dinners and tastings come and go, so check each spot’s page for what is coming up.

Good to Know
Texas liquor stores are closed on Sundays, so plan a bottle run for Saturday or pick one up at a grocery store. Each October the Commemorative Air Force’s High Sky Wing hosts Wine and Warbirds at the airport, a 21-and-up evening of wine, food from local restaurants and vintage aircraft that benefits the Midland Army Air Field Museum.
